PL280 is a compact PLC integrating also analogue/digital I/Os. CPU is s based on ARM CORTEX H7 480MHz microprocessor; it is programmable with LogicLab (IEC 61131-3) and is conceived as a control unit and connectivity node, featuring RS485 serial (Modbus RTU), Ethernet (Modbus TCP) and CANopen.
PL280 can be expanded with PLE500 I/O modules, which communicate with the CPU via an internal real-time bus on DIN rail or MCM260X modules for remote I/Os.
Industry 4.0 connectivity Modbus TCP protocol is supported.
PL280 series can also be used as an I/O with Modbus TCP/RTU connectivity, as well as secondary logics for temperature control/process control, thanks to the availability of analogue I/Os (temperature and 4...20mA/0...10V signals) plus PID-Autotuning function blocks in LogicLab programming tool.
